This study was completed by Plant Engineering to evaluate workplace safety in manufacturing, as well as to look at the idea of a safety “culture,” how far these efforts extend into the plant and beyond, and safety trends and strategies. Only respondents responsible for maintaining, implementing or managing safety within their facilities—or those who are impacted by safety standards in their day-to-day work operations—were asked about workplace safety strategies.
